Question

Error 220 Cord Zero

Hi, Im trying to sign up to the Ovo charge Tariff. But after inputting everything it throws up a error 220. I can sometimes get as far as the Powerverse log in and then it throws up the 220 code. Ive contacted Cord and OVO but everything thing takes so long and long winded. Im having to charge my EV on the standard tariff even thought I've paid for a month's Ovo charge. It will lapse before I get to use it. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Howdy @danny85 !

I did find this from previous threads, can you see if this helps?

Otherwise, it’ll need to be checked out by the Charge Anytime team - you can call them directly on 0330 175 9678 if that helps.

As for that month of paid service? Have a chat with the team about that - they’ll figure something out with you.

btw what is the full error code shown with 220 and what are the charger lights doing?

Charger lights are flashing green, which i think is normal. This is the error message

20-10-2026 01:30-ERR. 220: There's been an error registering your device.lf the problem persists, please contact support.

It wont let me upload a screenshot, so ive just copied the text.

Thanks

Thanks. File uploads are temporarily disabled due to the PHP security incident - I suspect they’ll be restored soon.

Let me think about this for a bit, I’ll swing by if I have further thoughts.

Hey @danny85,

I checked in with the Charge Anytime team and shared your thread with them. They remember chatting with you and are just waiting for an email with some more details. Once they have that, they'll be happy to dive in and help you out.

Please keep us updated.

Hi Chris

Are they waiting for an email from me or someone else?

Thanks

Did you get this sorted in the end?

Hi yes I did thanks.

I powered off the ev charger

Unistalled both the cord and ovo charge app

Powered the unit back up

Reinstalled the apps and signed in.

I then left it until the next morning to allow the ev charger time to reconnect to the wifi etc

I then logged into the Ovo and and it then allowed me to link the charger.

I then tried a scheduled charge through the ovo app that night but by the morning nothing happened so I had to boost it on my normal rate.

But then the next evening I tried again and it smart charged fine. It seems temperamental and hope it will work OK going forward, but its been a nightmare to set up and nearly gave up a few times and changed provider.

Thanks for asking

Dan
