Charge Anytime stopped working for my Renault Zoe

I have been using the charge anytime since August but has suddenly stopped working. I tried deleting my car from the app and reregistering but my car is no longer on the list. Being a pensioner I find it difficult to cope with the technology, any ideas?

Just a thought here. Does your car still have connectivity with the Renault servers? When the car is three years old from the registration date the contract for the eSIM (R-Link) runs out unless it is renewed. You can find out by sending an email to

r-link.helplineuk@renault.com

giving your registration number (plate) for the car and they will check for you. Due to Brexit you are unable to do this on line (at a cost) and the very friendly and helpful team there can renew your subscription for free for at least another year.

You can also call them on 0344 369 0000. Keep a record of those contact details.

I’ve managed to charge my zoe, the problem now solved I had to enable the charger and then it worked. I find the renault app doesn’t always work and have to keep uninstalling and installing it. As my charger is not compatible I have to get them all in sync.

Hi @megandruby ,

AFAIK that vehicle should still be supported. Try giving the team a call on 0330 175 9678 and they’ll take a look for you.

In addition, if your R-Link subscription is renewed then also ask for the new MY ZE Connect activation code which is the 10 character code required for the Renault app. You probably got your original code (no longer valid) from the dealer.

Thanks Peter, I have renewed my contract for the remote package as it had run out. Just waiting for the team to sort out why my Zoe i GT Line R135 ZE 50 which is 4 years old is not on the list, the only one on the list is Zoe X102VE ! I have to wait now could be up to 10 days

Hey @megandruby

I’m glad to hear that @Peter E’s advice has helped you! Hopefully it’s not as a long a wait as they’ve forecasted for you.

The Zoe is my specialist subject. I'm asking for that if I ever get on Mastermind. Shouldn't have to pass on any question.

@megandruby if you have any further questions fire away.
