Question

App not controlling charging

My App is not working to control car charging all of a sudden. The charger works, the Renault app works and can identify when my car is plugged in but despite deleting and reinstalling the OVO app

ig has failed to charge my car for the last 2 nights. Why does this happen?!

I’m not seeing any status alerts with Renault at the moment and there hasn’t been any other reports on the forum either. Could you give the team a call on 0330 175 9678 by any chance?

Would I need to be with my car and near the charger? I’ve never found them very helpful on the phone to be honest. I’ve usually had to phone Project EV and that manage to resolve it, but I can’t see that the problem is with the charger.

Nope, they can do diagnostics and pull logs remotely. But this is a dedicated team so it’s worth trying them, or you can email chargeanytime@ovo.com .

Project EV is likely not the answer as their chargers aren’t supported.

Have phoned today but not helpful. I am also at work and they asked me to reset my charger which I cannot do. I had done all the other things they recommended already. They said will raise a tech issue but last time this happened no one ever called me back.
