I see that Toshiba have announced their new system for connecting the comms hub.

I’ve also seen other manufacturers mention expecting devices during 2026.
It will be interesting to see how this rolls out.

Still not keen on VWAN myself and it seems like DCC really doesn’t want to use it either…

Something about running Critical National Infrastructure stuff through ISP Routers just… Doesn’t sit right with me… Especially with UPnP being enabled on ISP junk by default...

Thanks so much for sharing, @BPLightlog!

I can’t wait to dive into this great reading material later this afternoon. 😄

There’s a ‘Customer Journey’ overview which DCC has outlined which might be a bit of a guide

@BPLightlog The section about home moves is really interesting and could be a bit tricky for anyone who's relocating, especially if they don’t realise they need to top up the meter before their internet is set up. Do you think it would be a good idea for us to turn this information into an article? I’ll also do some digging internally to find out where we stand as a business and what advice we can share!

There are certainly a number of people who would be affected - and therefore interested.
I wondered if anyone was in the link for any trial, fitting requirements or such like.

Wise advice; which I believe DDC realises but our elected MP’s never seem to -

Just because technically you can do something doesn’t mean that you should do it.
