Can smart meter signals cause interference with interconnected smoke alarms?

Has there been any evidence or reports of a Smart Meter RF signal, SMETS 1 and 2, causing random/ spurious activations of i.e. EI Aico interconnected smoke alarms (not radiolink connected) in a domestic environment?

Nope, never seen any and the chances of it happening are almost impossible.

Just about anything should be capable of dealing with potential interference anyway. If it can’t, then that’s a problem with the other device, rather than the smart meters. I’d probably recommend getting an engineer out to take a look at those smoke alarms.
