In this situation, you will be refunded automatically for the failed transaction. No further action is required from you - it’ll have already been triggered.

Please don’t contact OVO about this though, how fast this goes through is entirely dependent on your bank and OVO won’t be able to speed it up. If you don’t see it happen within ten working days, you’ll need to speak to your bank.

Also worth noting that usually, OVO will cancel the transaction rather than refund it per se, so you’ll probably see it vanish completely and the funds just get restored to your available balance - in which case you will NOT see a refund transaction or the original payment as it’ll just disappear completely.

Sorry to hear that this happened. ​@Blastoise186 is absolutely right - the money will be automatically returned to your bank, and you should see it in your bank account by the end of the week. If, by the end of the week, the money still hasn’t been returned, please contact our Support Team who will be able to help.
