trying to get smart electric meter fitted but told cannot have one, we already have smart gas meter so why not electric too?

Sorry to hear you’re unable to get an electric smart meter booked at the moment.

 

There can be a number of reasons as to why this isn’t available to you just now.

 

It could very well be that we don’t have any appointments or engineers in your area at the moment, it may be that there was a technical reason that means an electric smart meter wouldn’t be suitable, or maybe there isn’t enough space. These are just a few reasons I’ve seen bookings being unavailable. 

 

We don’t have access to accounts here at the Forum so we can’t be certain of the cause, so it may be best to contact the Support Team to find out more information on why you can’t get one at the moment.
