Beyond offer not available to me, why?

Why haven't I had anything about a new two hours free electricity? According to a friend it starts on the 23/2/2026, anyone know about this?

I just wanted to give you a quick update while we’re waiting to hear back from Lou Lou. 

 

The team have confirmed that there’s an offer available for customers in their renewal window from February to April. Terms can be found here including full eligibility dates, but ultimately, offers can be different for everyone, for different reasons such as contract end date or location.

 

​​Just a reminder that your friend's account is different from yours. You both might see different offers at different times based on various factors. It might be a good idea to focus on the offers available to you and think about how to make the most of them with OVO. 

 

Also, a Renewal window is the timeframe when you can renew your fixed plan without any penalties as your current plan wraps up. I hope this helps!

I can also find nothing about this on my app. How do I check if I have the latest version?

On Android it’s 21.2.0 last updated 11/2/26

 

Hold your finger on the App until it say App info. Tap on that then Advanced, Version

 

Or, open the app, tap on the profile icon on the top right, scroll down to App version details.

I have just installed the latest version of iPad App and can find no mention of any new Free Hours scheme.

@Loulou72 does your friend work in OVO? Did they share information which wasn’t public? 
I have the latest app version – nothing about free hours.

No my friend doesn't work for OVO ,she said it's just after the amount per month on the app also she's just had an email saying welcome to two hours free electricity, I haven't had anything yet, anyone else have? Also I've checked that I have the latest version of Android

Still nothing on my app and I've checked it's the latest version, I've tried reinstalling the app still nothing??

I've updated my previous answer to highlight that the offers on the Beyond app for free electricity are for customers who are in their renewal windows and close to the end of their plans.

Thanks for the info,  my friend's plan ended on 18th February and what is a renewal window?, it really doesn't seem fair to me but hey ho there's always a switch

So far we have both had the same offers, being of pension age most of the offers are pretty useless, EV car offers, solar panels and partner offers are really not of any use and although I've received a few £2 in power move it's hit and miss
