Recently had a 6kw solar system installed, consists of a Solis Hybrid Inverter, rated (3 - 6kw) 5kw rated Pure Drive Battery and 14 x 420w panels. My question is, why does my inverter take from the panels and feed to my property and the GRID, rather than charging the battery which is as low as 12%? Any assistance will be grateful appreciated.

Interested in installing Solar? Good news, you can now do so with OVO!
You will need to double check settings in your control system to ensure you have the correct priorities set.
Also it’s worth checking what the app says compared to your meter readings as it has been known for the measurement sensors to be connected wrongly
