You should actually see two relevant entries, such as in this example:
The one that does not show the VAT thing on the line entry is the actual credit - the £0.00 one (that mentions VAT) is the add-on itself which enables the free hours. You should ignore that one.
If for some reason, you don’t see both… Please contact OVO Support and ask them to investigate. Details can be found below:
Thank you that is visible using the App but was not shown on the web based version.
However, it is only shown for June and the total of 8 hours free Electricity is a paltry £1.38.
That sounds correct to me - it would be for May. The June one will come through soon.
You get one free kWh per period so the amount sounds right to me.

I’m happy to hear you’re making the most of the two hours of free electricity with Beyond. As you mentioned, it might not seem like a huge saving, but it’s certainly better than nothing! There are other ways to save money on your bills too, like Power Move or the Power Move Flex trial. I'll include the links below for more information
