Is Battery Boost compatible for use with Charge Anytime?

It’s being worked on - but I can’t say if/when it’ll happen as it’s complicated.

Has their been any progress on Battery Boost and Charge Anytime working together?

I’ve taken this from the Battery Boost homepage;

‘Can I use Battery Boost with Charge Anytime?

Right now, you won’t be able to opt in for Charge Anytime and Battery Boost at the same time. We’re working hard to let our customers benefit from both add-ons.’

We’ll update our topics here on the Forum as soon as we have any further developments, but you can also keep an eye on the webpage for updates too.

Is there a timescale that Battery Boost is going to be available with Charge anytime. On the website it states you’re “working on it”, however, if it’s not going to be anytime soon then there is little point in going with OVO who over charge on installation, and install products which aren’t known as well in the industry.

Sorry, no timescales right now. They’ll be publicly advertised once known though.

I've been asking this same question for the last 6 months and getting exactly the same reply. 

I have however established that since they are 'add ons' you can opt in or out of them.

My Battery Boost worked very well over the winter.  At the moment I receive no overnight charge as the PV panels provide plenty of power. 

Remember to factor in the generous SEG rate that OVO offers.

I have made a suggestion which I would be grateful if you would consider voting for.

It is suggesting having premium payments for discharging your home battery during peek times 5-7PM week days. To compliment this it also suggesting cheap rate charging during the night. In fact it suggests cheap electricity for any use during low use over night. This is like Economy 7/10 but combined with premium discharge.
