Room thermostat control help

Forum Volunteer here. Just a quick bit of housekeeping order to make things easier for us to advise. Please can you provide the following extra info:

• More details of the heating system you’ve got
• Photos of everything you think might be relevant

Hi @Cornishmade , as has been mentioned, there’s not much we can help with at the moment without more detail. 
At present I’d say get it mended or replace 

Is the thermostat being affected by an external heat source? Eg a woodburner?

Our thermostat cuts out because of the heat wafting around. I’m having Hive at the end of the summer so I can establish the correct location of the unit to ensure the boiler stays on.

Thermostat regulates the room temperature in the house.When the weather is cold the room temperature will be built in room & during the warmer weather the thermostat will cause the radiators to idle so that their out put will be less in reality.

I don't usually have any heating on not even in cold weather but the thermostat display is broken and it's causing the boiler to constantly click on and off. Now you can feel warmth when you walk into my home
