Looking for Commercial Gas Engineer - U16 Meter / 112kW Upgrade (Nottingham)

I’m looking for recommendations for a Gas Safe engineer in the Nottingham area who specialises in commercial installations.

We currently have a domestic G4 gas connection (max ~65kW), but we need to upgrade to a U16 meter to support a 112kW load. We are finding the process with Cadent quite slow and are looking for a regulated professional who can:

  1. Advise on/handle the pipeline upgrade for commercial use.

  2. Ensure everything is fully compliant for future supplier inspections.

Hey ​@forhad ,

Bad news I’m afraid - only Cadent can do this as they own the pipes up to the meter. And only your supplier can swap the meter.

    I’m glad to see Blastoise186 has already stopped by with some helpful advice here. The pipework upgrade will need to be completed by the Gas Transporter, and the meter replaced by your supplier. Are you supplied by OVO currently?
