Having moaned here about the change to charging, i thought it only fair to provide an update.
having switched to charge anytime but being unable to fix my location because of the crappy map, which apparently some people think is not the fault of OVO, personally I think if you use a service for your customers, you have a duty to ensure it is fit for purpose but….
ehnayway, I wrote to the support, after 7 days, stony silence, I rang support, after another 7 days of total silence it has suddenly started to work, I.e. recognise that one of our cars at least lives here. The other one is away right now but there are issues with that one constantly turning off its location data for no apparent reason.

So I now need to monitor to see what gets reported, so far it has cost me about 5 hours of my time and about £50 in lost rebate. It would also have been nice if the support boys and girls had bothered to tell me they had sorted my location issue. BUT THANK YOU ANYWAY.
As always with changes, it seems that the result is rather less convenient than before, but it’s probably a case of the devil you know.
