So for the first time last night I’ve had my car not charge due to a software update on the car.
I’ve always plugged it in before an update, but its been a while I guess and since the new system stops charging the car after the car stops taking power, had a mere 0.3kw added to the car! Plugged in car, went to bed didn’t think anything of it, woke up with non charged car :(
Just a heads up for anyone to do the update then plug in or schedule it for maybe a few hours before you need the car so it will get charged before any update!
I really wish they let the car trickle charge like the old system did, had to boost for an hour or so to make sure I had enough this morning.
This is more of a heads up I guess, its not something I really thought about before!

It's a model 3,but we have 2 vehicles so have the charger linked to anytime not the car.
Never known it to not resume charging after an update before and generally just plug it in
Not a major issue just posted as a kind of heads up I guess 😁
