Anyone know where “settings” are on the fancy new OVO Charge Anytime App?
Also anyway of deleting a schedule?
Anyone know where “settings” are on the fancy new OVO Charge Anytime App?

Hi
The app only runs on one schedule - you simply set it via the Ready By time and the system does the rest. You don’t need to delete either - simply change the time you’ve selected.
Thanks - my issue is that the schedule is overriding both Tesla and Indra Apps - I want to charge free from the sun but because I have to put in a schedule it won’t do that as it’s working out it will charge “cheap” on the smart schedule
I see.
In that case, I’d check with the teams to make sure you’re set up properly to still use solar with the new platform.
OVO: 0330 175 9678
Indra: 01684 770631
Thanks - yeah I’ve since spoken to someone at their help line who advised the only way to take control of the solar was to delete the OVO app but that would lose the anytime tariff - they’ve opened a ticket for me to investigate
Hey
We have some troubleshooting steps on our recently published article on the new Indra app that i’ll leave below:
If your vehicle isn’t charging to full
To support local electricity networks, we would previously adjust the amount of energy used when charging EVs at certain times of the day depending on demand.
Instead, we now pause your charging at these times, before resuming it again later.
Some vehicle brands, like Tesla, interpret the pause as the charging session being finished and fall into sleep mode. Our attempts to restart charging are then rejected.
Putting your Tesla in Sentry Mode stops it from falling asleep and allows Charge Anytime to continue pausing and resuming charging as intended.
If you’re having issues setting up the new Indra app, you can call Indra on 01684 770 631 or email support@indra.co.uk.
If you’re having issues connecting to the Charge Anytime app, you can email us on chargeanytime@ovo.com or call 0330 175 9678 and select option 2 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). “
For clarity, Charge Anytime operates on a schedule to ensure your vehicle is ready by a specific time. To potentially maximise solar charging, you could consider setting a later schedule (outside of peak sunny hours) and plugging in your vehicle at a later time, if feasible. I hope this helps!
Regarding the other question the OP asked - where is ‘Settings’ in the ChargeAnytime app? I need to add a second EV to it and in the FAQs it says you do it via Settings but I can’t find that .
Thanks in advance.
Hey
If you’re on the Charge Anytime app you should see an option for account at the bottom right corner. In this tab you should see an option for “add a new electric vehicle at your home location”.
This should allow you to add another car! Let us know how you get on
Hi
Thanks for your reply. I haven’t got that option on the app. I emailed Indra as to how to do this and the reply I got was that currently we are not able to add another EV to their app (but they’re working on it).
They said I should be able to plug another EV into the charger and it should charge as my own vehicle does. Can anyone else with an Indra SmartPro charger tell me if this works? I have got guests next week that were hoping to charge their EV from my home charger.
Thanks,
Jasmin

Hi
I can confirm any anyone can charge on the Indra charger as if it's your own car with no issues. I have done this several times with other friends and family.
