Hi,Unlike many of the other posters, I’ve had the opposite problem of paying too much for a charge.The car reckons it received around 17kwh of energy last night (which seems about right, as it was at 70%), but both the Hypervolt app and the OVO Charge app reckon they only supplied 3kwh. I’m guessing physics hasn’t changed and more likely a computer glitch, but thought I’d raise it with the forum.  Colin 

I've recently switched suppliers but my Hypervolt charger needs me to remove the schedule from the OVO app. The OVO app looks to have removed me from the plan already. What do I do?

I’m getting quite confused with solar & battery used with anytime.Is this even possible on ovo? I seem to think I might be best changing to octopus, we are looking at getting solar and a Powerwall 3 installed, we are currently using charge anytime with an indra pro and the more I look the more i’m confused if we can A: actually charge the car when excess solar, assuming we generate enough, B: use any kind of time of use tariff with anytime to charge the battery at a cheap rate C: have this battery boost addon with a Powerwall? I can’t even see battery boost any ware on my ovo page, D: Export rate prices, I think ovo will pay 12p excess for a install not done by them?

Hi all…looking for any experience the forum might have with the Nexblue Point home EV charger, particularly using 4G connectivity. Also welcome general experience using the charger using other connectivity methods. 

I have just taken delivery of an R5. I have been using the OVO Charge App to smart charge my Skoda Elroq with great success. I have added my new R5 to the OVO Charge App using my MyRenault credentials without error. So far everything looks good. I plugged in the R5 to my “dumb” charger and the charge started straight away like it does with the Elroq, however the OVO Charge App never sees the R5 as being plugged in and therefore (I’m guessing) never tries to control the charge. Anyone got any clues as to what is wrong?

Been using Ohme for nearly 2 years without issue. Put my car on charge last night and woke up to a message saying no power to charger. Followed Ohme advice to drop the breaker etc which didn’t resolve anything. Rang Ohme who said that because I bought it through OVO I had to contact them. Spoke to a helpful advisor at OVO who thought I should speak with Ohme … long story short OVO are coming to look at it on the 9th December. I’m presently Granny Charging but just wondered if anyone else has had a similar issue? It charged for 3 KW before dropping. I was half expecting to see a tripped breaker but I’ve checked them all. BTW Ohme state that charger looks ok when they checked it online…..

Hi All, I recently purchased a CUPRA Formentor Hybrid. I enrolled in the Charge Anytime. The app worked brilliantly for a week or so and today I noticed something was wrong. I connected my car to change it and the app couldn’t not detect it, simply said car is unplugged and odd thing was it connected with the car last at 5:30 am… it was after 15:00 when I noticed that. I thought I’d remove the car from charge anytime app followed by app removal and re adding it all. All I get now is a screen where my schedule should be that says : Please wait few minutes whilst we finish connecting to your CUPRA. I raised it with them too but they simply responded it’s out of their scope and they can’t see any issues. Has anybody experienced anything like this before? How was it fixed? Thanks

Hi, I have £120 credit on my charging credit wallet. Can I just find a charger on the app and plug in and it uses that credit up? 

I have a Volvo V60 T6, which my app recognises, but the App charge history is going an ‘unknown device’ and the T6 being charged, which almost double the kWh compared to the charger App and the Volvo App. Any ideas?

Hi all, I've had a search of the forums here and on the internet in general, but I've not found a definitive answer to this. Now the weather is getting colder, I want to have the option to precondition/preheat my car before I depart. However, I don't want the car to use up any charge already in the battery, rather I'd prefer the preconditioning to be using electricity from the grid to ensure the maximum charge I've set gives me exactly that and it doesn't drop any because I'm preconditioning /preheating the car. Important variable - The way my Zappi 2.1 is set up is it's the charger which is integrated with Ovo and NOT the car. The Zappi is showing that it's in 'Managed' (MNGD) mode. Therefore everything charge wise is controlled by and limited by the Ovo app and system. Car is a 2024 Porsche Taycan GTS.  Thus, the scenario would be as follows:- I return home in the evening and set my ‘ready by’ time for 0700 the

My Indra charger has been 'offline' for the past few days. Have been unable to get through to Indra. (There were 30 people in the queue when I phoned this morning, which I've never seen before). I've tried switching off at the RCD several times. Im aware there are other threads on this topic. But wanted to specifically know if there are other users experiencing difficulties today. Can't charge at the 7p rate which is frustrating. But can boost charge. Does anyone know if either OVO or Indra are liable for the 7p rate not being available.  Still within 3 year warranty and starting to think I've got a duff charger as this kind of thing is happening far too often. 

 I’ve been experiencing repeated failures to charge overnight, after setting charge time on the OVO Charge app (which recently supplanted the Charge anytime app).If I set a time just a few hours away from the present, it will always charge without issue, but setting a morning deadline maybe 9-12 hours away seems to cause issue for some reason.From previous experience of overnight charge failures, then one successful charge, I surmised I needed to set the time on the app before I plug in the car, because that was the only thing I did differently that time.However, doing that, still no charge on multiple mornings, despite typically a spike of activity in the late evening, and the OVO app stating charging would recommence in the small hours.Trying to see if there’s any app issues, looking at my Z

Well I tried. I have been a big fan of OVO for nearly 4 years. Once I honestly believed the best EV tariff going, yes even better than the Purple multiple armed one..and let people know. That changed to the new offer, which despite having a great Beta team assigned who were responsive, quick at fixing issues and genuinely wanted feedback. I can’t continue.  The new Charge Anytime just does not work for me. The Rates for “Free” charging are too high and too inflexible and push the risk to the driver to “Guess” how many miles they will do in a month. You can’t adjust the packages quick enough and if you do run out, then get charged the full tariff amount. External charging worked via app the one time I used it but to get the best deal again you would have to buy a “Boost” Battery check did not bring a code up for me, something found during Beta testing and again in reality is a bit pointless as an extra 15% off expensive tyre subs

I’m one of the lucky ones who has a VW and i registered with OVO and got the free miles deal, so my understanding is that I get to keep the 7p/Kwh rate, at least for the time being. However, I’ve noticed that my charges are now being billed at 13p+, instead of 7p - does anyone know why this might be?  Is it an issue with the app and my bills will be correct, or is thi an account issue that I need OVO to sort out?Here’s my old charging figures from last month - all around 7p/Kwh  And here’s the latest charge at 13.3p/Kwh
