Been using Ohme for nearly 2 years without issue. Put my car on charge last night and woke up to a message saying no power to charger. Followed Ohme advice to drop the breaker etc which didn’t resolve anything. Rang Ohme who said that because I bought it through OVO I had to contact them. Spoke to a helpful advisor at OVO who thought I should speak with Ohme … long story short OVO are coming to look at it on the 9th December. I’m presently Granny Charging but just wondered if anyone else has had a similar issue? It charged for 3 KW before dropping. I was half expecting to see a tripped breaker but I’ve checked them all. BTW Ohme state that charger looks ok when they checked it online…..

Update on my charging issue. OVO turned up this morning as planned and found the fault which was as I suspected a problem with the  breaker. There was sign of burning in the breaker and he was asked by someone he spoke to on the phone to take pics. They don't use the same breaker anymore but he managed to fit new internals and everything is working fine again now.

A bit worried that breakers can fail but at least its working again.

I’m glad to heat that we’re sending someone to look at it for you @grafs555, and sorry to hear that this is happening.

I’ve been digging around the Forum and haven’t seen any similar posts so far. However, I have found similar posts on the Speak EV Forum, so it might be worth you having a look there: https://www.speakev.com/threads/ohme-home-pro-complete-loss-of-power.172600/.

Keep us updated as to how it goes on the 9th! Fingers crossed it’s sorted that day 🤞.

Hi

Thanks for the link but in my case, Ive tried tripping the correct breaker but to no avail. The button to test monthly which I assume should trip the circuit does nothing so in my non technical mind, I would assume no power ti the breaker switch. All in doors breakers are up. OHME said they could see no issue remotely so I'll let you know how I get on next week. Granny charging at the moment.
