I have an EV Project charger linked to my SEAT app and OVO Anytime. The SEAT app has been upgraded recently and now it constantly sends notifications to my phone and reports that charging has stopped.
Charging is now erratic and unreliable.
I had an email some time ago advising that management of the EV Project app was being taken over by another company- has this happened yet?
Many thanks,
Chris

Hey @ChrisB2,
That’s not ideal at all have you tried unpairing the car and repairing it to try and resolve any possible connection issues between the Seat app and charging?
I haven’t heard anything about the management of the Project EV app, but I’ll tag a couple of members who’ve been active on other Project EV threads to ask if they’ve any input.
@Heskie or @hydro_sam.
Yes I have unpaired and then repaired the car several times.
It is very erratic; today it charged from 0 to 80% without any problem!!
I left the SEAT app open on my phone while it was charging so it was running in the background- perhaps that helps. I’ll try that again next time to see if that prevents the App continuously sending activity notifications.

Last night the car charged to 81% then OVO cut the power to the charger. The SEAT app couldn’t reconnect and sent me 13 notifications to tell me “external power was unavailable” each time it tried to reconnect.
The ProjectEV app no longer manages the charges so I connect by plugging the car in and setting the charge time on the OVO app.
When you’ve spoken to Seat please could you let us know what they say / suggest? It’d be useful for us to know, and good for other Forum members to see, should they end up in the same situation.
Thanks @Blastoise186 for your help with this one 😁.
