Charge Anytime with Monta App

I have just got an electric car, and a new charger, and I’m having a few issues setting up Charge Anytime to work properly. I’ve followed all the guides and troubleshooting but haven’t managed to resolve the issue so am hoping someone here can help.

Car: VW ID7 - this is compatible with charge anytime

Charger: LeMac Smart Charger controlled by Monta App - this is not compatible.

Using the Ovo Charge Anytime App I cannot get the car to charge either on a scheduled or an instant charge, however when I use the Monta App, I can successfully use both scheduled and instant charging.

If the Charge Anytime app is trying to charge the car, it continuously pushes the start time back and never starts charging, but if I start a charge through Monta during this time I do get the savings logged in the Ovo App.

It seems like there is a conflict between the two apps, so my question is, should I just uninstall the Monta app and do everything through Ovo?  There appears to be additional functionality in the Monta app - will I just lose this?

Could you check with the team please? 0330 175 9678 or chargeanytime@ovo.com as they’ll need to dig the logs for this one.
