I’m one of the lucky ones who has a VW and i registered with OVO and got the free miles deal, so my understanding is that I get to keep the 7p/Kwh rate, at least for the time being.
However, I’ve noticed that my charges are now being billed at 13p+, instead of 7p - does anyone know why this might be? Is it an issue with the app and my bills will be correct, or is thi an account issue that I need OVO to sort out?
Here’s my old charging figures from last month - all around 7p/Kwh
And here’s the latest charge at 13.3p/Kwh

Morning @woodstok2000 and @GTi, I hope you’re both well.
@GTi I’ve added the EV badge to your Forum profile so that other members can recognise you.
Here’s an update from Charge Anytime:
The 7p won’t show on the app as we haven’t been able to build a back end solution to personalise their rate. Instead they will get an adjustment credit on their bill to bring their charging down from 14p to 7p.
Hope this helps shed some light on things, and apologies you weren’t told about this sooner. Good news is it’s a known issue that’s being fixed!
It seems that this issue was already brought to the team's attention internally this morning, so they are aware of it. I will monitor the situation and provide an update as soon as I hear more from them.
I’m also lucky to have a VAG group car - a Skoda Enyaq which I’ve had for over a year & been with OVO all that time! I to have noticed my latest charge is double(approx. 14p) instead of the expected 7p Hopefully as above this is an app issue that will be sorted soon! I’ve sent an email asking for conformation & tried ringing(gave up at 10mins) perhaps I might get an answer on here who knows!!

Had a disappointing reply to my email, OVO stating I don’t qualify for the VAG deal!!!!! So I’m expected to accept a 100% increase in charging price? As a relatively low user both the OVO “deals” don’t suit me so I’ve already started the process of comparing rates with other suppliers! OVO need to have a rethink before many more like me find another / better rate to charge their car!!!
My joy has been dashed by a very disappointing email from OVO stating I’m now not going to benefit from the VAG deal!!! Instead I am facing a 100% increase in the cost of charging my car!! Neither of the “deals” offered by OVO suit me so I’m stuck with this huge price increase on pay as you go. Obviously I will have to start looking at other suppliers rates to compare! Maybe this will be posted on this thread as my first effort hasn’t for some reason!
That’s frustrating to hear that your vehicle didn’t meet the eligibility @GTi. If you do choose to switch because of this I hope you find a deal that suits you.
I too have the VW/Skoda deal having got my car on 29th September, one day before the offer finished. The question I have is I understand the 7p rate doesn’t show on the app but when will the credit be applied - Is it at the end of each month and will it be shown as a separate credit?
It’ll show as a credit once a month - usually by the 15th if memory serves. I don’t think it’s separate but if for any reason you think the credits are wrong, 0330 175 9678 Option 2 has your back.
