Can't link my OVO Charge account

I have the new app installed on my phone but unfortunately It won't let me link my OVO account to start using the new app for charging at home.

Sorry Chris but the issue was I have a different password for my OVO account and my charge anytime account.

I was using the wrong password. 

Download the OVO Charge app from the App Store or Google Play.

Sorry about the trouble there! I can’t do much via the Forum and the team aren’t around right now. But if you call 0330 175 9678 Option 2 during the day, the team can help you get this fixed up.

I had exactly the same issue, a nightmare!  Be patient, it will connect eventually, but if you get any missed credits keep a record and request a manual credit.🤗

Are you seeing any error messages when trying to link your account? If you could share where you're getting stuck in the signup process, I’d be happy to pass that along to our team. Also, if you could let me know what device you’re using and, if you can, the software version, that would be really helpful!

I was not trying to sign up I was trying to link my OVO account to the new updated OVO charge app. 

I currently use the charge anytime app.

I am using a Google Pixel 9a android 16 software

Could you let us know what error messages you're seeing, if any? The more details you can share about what's happening on your end, the better we can understand and help you out.

 

The team have said they’ll get someone to reach out to you directly to try and diagnose the issues also so keep an eye on your emails.

For anyone else reading this thread, the solution was to update the app, which fixed the linking issue!

Hi

Can anyone advice on how to link the ovo charge app to my ovo account. I have tried unsuccessfully to get advice advise using chat function. Then advised to ring Ovo and have been waiting 30 minutes for someone to answer. The advice is to follow the app instructions but assume these only appear when you first load the app and I already had the app before I signed up to the new monthly plan, I even tried deleting the app and reinstalling but that didn’t work.
