Hi

The app says my mercedes a250e is charging away from home on Monday-Wednesday and smart on Thursday-Sunday when the car is parked in the same place every time on the drive.

It was OK at the start in November with an occasional away charge but now for the last 2 weeks it's been days on and days off.

Any ideas

To update all Forum Members who are part of the Mercedes / Beta Pilot:

This is still a pilot, and some issues - like the 50% total charge problem - may take time to resolve. As a result, the Charge Anytime team is unable to provide further updates at this time.

If the limitations you're experiencing outweigh the benefits of the Charge Anytime add-on, we recommend leaving the pilot for now while we work on improving the service.

We’re sorry for any frustration this may cause. Please keep an eye on the Forum for updates - we’ll share any new developments as soon as we have them.

You can exit the Mercedes Beta Pilot at any time by taking the following steps:

  • Open the OVO Charge app
  • Click on the "Account" tab in the bottom right
  • Click on the User icon in the top left
  • Click the "Delete account" link
  • Select a reason for leaving and click "Continue"
  • Your app account will now be deleted and there will be no further connection or interaction between your car and the OVO system
  • Note: You will still be credited for any smart charging that you have done up to this point

Hey @aandh

Sorry for the issues you’re having. As Blastoise advised please reach out to the team:

How to get in contact with the Charge Anytime team

  • Call 0330 175 9678 (Option 1 new customers/option 2 existing customers)

  • Email via chargeanytime@ovo.com

  • Webchat, click the link then the green chat icon at the bottom right of the page

I’ll flag this to the team also & see if there are any known issues & report back.

We had another user report issues with their Mercedes yesterday but it seems to be a different problem.

Hi @aandh ,

You might need to talk to Mercedes, but in the first instance could you let the Charge Anytime team take a look please? 0330 175 9678 is the direct number.

Thanks!
