Come and join the Bristol Energy Networks shrub planting event

 

Hi Power Movers

 

We’ve got a great event to share with those based in and around the Bristol area.

 

Join in on the fun at the Bristol Energy Network event on Saturday 20th of January, 11am-2:30pm (this Saturday) at the Ambition Community Energy Turbine site.

 

They’ll be planting shrubs OVO have donated to the Ambition Community Energy CIC Turbine site. 

 

So if you're nearby and up for getting involved, reserve your spot here, and come along to join in the fun.

How many trees would I have to plant to offset the emissions generated by me driving 300 miles from here and back in my 21-year-old Land Rover?

 

Don’t get me wrong - I think the Lawrence Weston scheme is brilliant and I’d love to set up something similar - but on a sort of Hornby Dublo scale - in this windy spot where I live. It would be fascinating to have the opportunity to see what they’ve achieved there.

Erm… I’m guessing all 2,475 of them would be needed to offset that thing? :P
