I only found this initiative a few days ago and did a calculation up to 29th Aug and was close to 12.5% so i signed up thinking it would start from sep. I finished the calculation to the end of aug and calculated 12.6% excluding weekeds and bank holiday. So without trying i was close so thought it was worth my while, being a low user it would pay nearly half my bill at the moment.
Ive just got the ovo email saying i havent met Aug (not that i was expecting to be part of the initiative for that mth) but it said my calculation was 13.9%.
I had gone into the app to usage, changed to elec and kwh and taken the daily total figures under mthly for the days required, and then gone to daily and added up the figs for 4pm to 6.30pm as i had read the fig for 4pm is 4 to 4.30 and so on, so 6.30 would be 6.30 to 7. Take the cumulative period figs divide by cumulative daily figs and i get 12.6% and they are saying 13.9%
Ive also tried 4.30 to 7 figs and come out at 15.67% so that doesnt work either.
How does the calculation work because i want to make sure im on track because my usage is really low it will be a close call?
