I have been trying to get my new smart meter verified so that i can submit my FIT export readings for nearly 18 months. For the whole of this year I have had emails and phone calls bounced back and forth with demands for the same information over and over again with no-one really caring or taking ownership, including the numerous people from the ‘complaints’ team. Today on my second call of the day, i was fortunate to connect to Stephen from Squad A team What an absolute gem. He listened, understood what I was trying to achieve, explained the processes and jargon to me and talked me through the whole process and achieved what the numerous people I’ve dealt with before him were unable or unwilling to do. I finally feel like this issue, which has caused me many sleepless nights and lots of stress is coming to a conclusion, all thanks to Stephen for actually caring. Please, please could someone pass on my gratitude to him (I did thank him on the phone but felt so relieved i ended up crying!) Stephen deserves some form of recognition or bonus as he has restored my faith in customer care within OVO.
