Hi, we just moved over to economy 9 from THTC on 5th Feb. I was looking at the new meter, I noticed two little contacts in bottom right corner and one of them does not make contact? Im sure I read somewhere on here someone else had this problem and it affected their billing? Help please.
Could you check the meter again during a time when the heating/hot water is expected to be on please? That bottom line should be flat during those periods - let me know what you see during such times, but please try to check in the middle of such a period - not when it literally just kicks in - to allow for the random offset to fire.
I am on Economy 7, a simular tariff to yours. Just checked my meter and its the same with the bottom switch showing open. Think this may be closed when the Economy tariff kicks in as this for me brings on an extra circuit with the storage heater and overnight water heating.
