Since theres a few ways of creating electricity like necular and wind power, do you think in the future there be a new way to convert a different type of energy into electricity? Some sustainable like solar?

If so what do you think it will be??

Two big possibilities I can think of:

  1.  Potential energy. Use intermittent excess power production (e.g. wind) to pump water into uphill storage, then use that head of water to generate hydropower when the wind stops blowing. Pumped Storage Hydropower | Department of Energy
  2. Geothermal energy. Geothermal energy - POST (parliament.uk)

Successful electricity generation from fusion has been 15 years away for at least 30 years.
