Hi all

Does anyone know if Ovo use SAP (ERP or CRM) , to plan work or record customer interactions?

Cheers

I can say this much. OVO doesn’t use SAP.

I know a lot about OVO’s internal systems, but that comes with a catch - I have to keep 98% of the details under wraps.

Hi @Emmywoo ,

I’m afraid that question probably can’t be answered. What was the reason for asking? I’m a forum volunteer, so I can’t speak for OVO by myself.

Hi, I’m intrigued by your question @Emmywoo. I’ve used SAP previously but I doubt OVO do. Having used it for several years, I don’t think I could recommend it to anyone

I've used it myself at several different places, just wondering because I recently contacted Ovo on the phone and requested a call reference/transaction ID(SAP) so I know the call was saved in the account notes, and was told they couldn't give one on the phone and I needed to submit an SAR which takes them months to answer! To be honest, any system you use to record info should be able to spit out a reference when you hit save.

No probs. Good to know. Will just assume from my interaction with them,  that the systems are powered by hampster wheels.

Thanks for the info 👍

Ha, I used to work for a blue chip energy company that was totally absorbed in SAP……...we knew it as Stop All Payments 😂
