I have a Tesla but no longer have the premium connectivity. I want to charge the Tesla up at the barn which will have no WiFi. Will the charge anytime work in this situation?

Hi @Leeablett , there are some of the chargers which use 4G as an option alongside WiFi and Ethernet so if that is available there might be something. There will be some link required.
You will need to double check as depending on the complete set up, there might be a need for a location of the vehicle also.
It's worth researching the various combinations available and also perhaps confirming with the team chargeanytime@ovoenergy.com

I think you may have bigger issues here. If you’re moving the Tesla to a barn, there’s no guarantee you’d even get a 4G signal to it - barns are like faraday cages if they’re made out of metal!

As for Premium Connectivity? I can’t find any info on Tesla’s website about whether CA would still work without it. If you’re charging away from the previously registered location though, you’ll need to reset your Charge Anytime account to reflect the new location. You’d be best having a word with the team about this on 0330 175 9678 as they’d need to look deeper at your specific setup.

I just wanted to update everyone that charging works fine without premium connectivity.
