Starting a new conversation because I can’t find any info on the forum about this.

I have recently had an Ohme Home Pro EV charge point installed and signed up for the Charge Anytime add-on. I’ve been monitoring the Charge Anytime credits that have been applied to my account and they don’t seem to match the kWh consumption that is being reported in the Ohme app. I think everything is set up correctly and some Ovo credits have been applied, but the usage doesn’t look very much like what the Ohme app says I’ve used - my Ovo account is either missing some smart charging sessions or the smart charging kWh for each session are being underreported. I appreciate that there may be some delay between the chargepoint reporting the session and Ovo applying the charge credits, but Its been 4 days since I last plugged in and things have not caught up.

So the question for anyone with a similar setup is - how accurately do the Charge Anytime consumption figures match those that are reported by your charge point, and how quickly do the credits display on your Ovo account after completing an smart charging session?

(By the way, I do not have preconditioning enabled and these are scheduled charging sessions not max / boost charging, which I know would not be covered under the Charge Anytime tariff).

OK 2 things:

1)

You are looking at the Ovo energy summary in the Usage section of the Ovo app which doesn’t reflect the Charge Anytime credits. Instead, try going to Home and there is a link that says Take Your EV for a Spin. Click on that and it will take you to a page called Your EV and show your reported car usage and costs

2)

The Ohme app charge stats don’t distinguish between max/boost charge sessions and scheduled charging sessions. If you have boost charged during the reporting period the total cost shown by Ohme won’t be correct as boost charging is charged at the regular rate.

So that's the shot of the section of your EV. Suppose I'll get used to it as I go 🤔🤦

If this usage is all on 26th and you didn’t charge again on 27th then you won’t see your credits - that seems to be the way it works. It took me ages to fathom it out - your charge session won’t show any credits until after you do a subsequent charge on a different day.

Ah ok, so I've just plugged in to charge, I've set it to charge 100 miles to be ready for 0400. So hopefully it'll be right

I’ll bet that when you have completed that charge and unplugged your vehicle the credits you are expecting for 26th will be shown in the Ovo app. Let us know how it goes.

Will do, fingers crossed. Thanks 👍

Morning @Dark the EV credit has appeared on my account this morning so looks like it's all sorted, does this get credited onto your account balance in the future?

Thanks for all your help.

I think the credit gets applied to your monthly bill.

Hey @Dark,

The following update might be helpful to you:

We've had a number of Charge Anytime customers with Ohme chargers, where their EV page wasn't displaying charge data in it's entirety. The issue was purely cosmetic, with actual credits paid at the end of each month being correct. I’ve had an update from the team about this:

Thank you for your patience whilst our technical team worked on a fix for your Charge Anytime addon linked with your Ohme charger. We found that your EV section of the OVO online account wasn't showing all of the Charge Anytime credits being calculated and applied, based on your scheduled charges.
We've now released a fix which will ensure that your EV section will accurately reflect the same Charge Anytime credits that will be applied. It's worth bearing in mind that we receive the charging data from Ohme after your vehicle is unplugged, so any charging sessions currently underway aren't shown on your EV section until this occurs.

Hi all. Sorry to comment on an old thread but I've the exact issue reported here.

I'm new to EV. Had it delivered a week ago along with an Ohme Home Pro and connected to the charge anytime tarrif.

So far,  only 3 charges all of which scheduled not boost and none crossing over midnight. (Two of these on the same day so if you look at the images below it looks like only two charges)

The Ohme app is reporting 35.8kWh and OVO reporting 30.63kWh. I'm concerned this appears to be around 15% under reporting.

The ovo account reports the charging credit the following day after the energy usage as that appears to be when the data is received so it looks like all my charging sessions have been reported.

Can one of the Ovo reps on here help me understand what's going on please? @Emmanuelle_OVO  @Tim_OVO

Hi @anianat

Welcome to the Forum. We’re excited to have you join our EV community!

We have a handy FAQS section on Charge Anytime here - https://www.ovoenergy.com/electric-cars/charge-anytime-faqs

In similar instances, it could be that as you haven’t subsequently charged the car again, the usage isn’t showing one of the charges. Could you try charging the car again and let us know how you get on?

If you are still sure there is an error in the data that we need to look into, you can email chargeanytime@ovo.com,

I hope this helps.
