One of our volunteers has already left some good questions that would be helpful to know more about.
It might be worth getting in touch with the Charge Anytime team directly about this too as it isn’t something we’ve seen before, you can do this at chargeanytime@ovo.com, or call 0330 175 9678 (Option 1 new customers/option 2 existing customers).

This isn’t something I’ve seen anyone mention before and I doubt it’s to do with CA.
One thing intrigues me .. why would you have GPS active when setting you charge by time?
What EV/charger combination are you using?

Thanks so I'm using the granny charger. It's been working fine for about 2 years now all of a sudden every time I change time in the ovo app in knocks off the GPS setting in the car. Because I'm using granny charger I'm assuming the only way that OVO can detect the car is thru the app not the smart meter.
I contacted BMW yesterday who have helped and we may have solved the issue with telling me that everytime I change the time on the ovo app I need to manually turn the GPS in the car back on which is annoying.
The other reason could be the profile settings on the 2 key fobs.. So the one key fob may have been used with the GPS setting off. We've reset both of the key fobs now.
Hopefully this resolves it and for anyone else who has the problem they can see my experience :)

Just a heads up - using Charge Anytime with a Granny Charger isn’t recommended, because the system isn’t designed for them. Strictly speaking, they’re also not really meant to be used as your primary charger either.
Are you able to install a proper charger?
