Power move plus targets lowered as you use less?

I totally agree @colwat my target started at 0.05, 0.04, 0.03, 0.02, then up again to 0.04 and tomorrow's is back down to 0.03khw.

Mine have all been around 0.6 to 0.7. Not much variation and all I've used in each one is 0.4 as I just leave my router on.

I already do the Power Move which coincides with the times the Plus happens. So I started at 0.2 the first time and went down to 0.1 the second time. I have decided it’s not for me but people who have high consumption would smash these targets. I got 30p credit the last time after sitting in dark watching iPad. I decided it just wasn’t for me - I want to do my bit - but honestly draw the line at sitting in dark in the North of Scotland 

I’m switching off and going out during PM+ but it’s  a joke trying to get low enough and surely the petrol costs etc are higher than I’d be saving anyway 🫣

My understanding is that the target is set by averaging your 10 previous working day’s consumption during the same time period - (I think , but can’t guarantee that this excludes data from previous power move events). 
For me, targets are always 0.2kwh for an hour period - so , without turning all the lights off and sitting doing nothing it’s a challenge to achieve much more than a 0.1 Kwh saving (30 p for a £3 per kwh reward) - It’s a personal choice as to if it’s worth it - for most with that sort of reward ,  the financial reward isn’t worth it, but every little helps towards the aim of reducing demand during these critical hours (Of course it would be better if the National infrastructure was robust enough to supply the expected demand without putting strain on the system).

Power Move  is already a more sensible way of incentivising people to shift consumption out of critical periods and,  if you are already participating in this option,  you will inevitably struggle to squeeze even more savings out of Power Move Plus - and I guess  those of us doing this already aren’t the targets of the Power Move Plus exercise - those with heavy consumption would find it easier to turn things off and therefore easier to make a some money - 

I don’t think these opt in Power Move Plus events are really a sensible way to balance load - but maybe differential pricing would make people think about doing the washing in the morning rather than the evening to save a bit of money.

I am very frustrated by Poser Move. I joined last September and received  £15 in October. Despite only using lights and TV I was told I had not met the target for the following month. 3 weeks ago I was told I was on track to hit target. Today I received an email inviting me to join Power Move! Is it really worth bothering with?

Costs nothing to join, so no harm in sticking it out.

If your usage is too flat, that won’t qualify because you’re not moving usage around. The idea is OVO Power Move, not OVO Power Keep It Flat All Day.
