payg to direct debit, in credit on payg

I was on payg with boost then changed to ovo payg, I have gone to direct debit with ovo, I still have £90 credit on the payg account how do I get that back ?

Howdy @Mako70 ,

If memory serves, OVO will either give you that back as a cash refund (usually via cheque because PAYG Refunds can’t be done via the Direct Debit or BACS route) or they’ll issue a bill credit for the same amount against your PAYM account. I’d recommend you have a chat with the team via the options at https://ovoenergy.com/help and they’ll see what’s possible.

Hey @Mako70

 

When you said “I have gone to direct debit” to you mean that you switched from PAYG to pay monthly? If so the remaining credit on your meter should be added to your account as a credit balance. If it isn’t showing then reach out to our Customer Care team and they’ll get this sorted for you.
