Confusion about FIT readings

I‘m told my next “reading date” is the 1st. June., but the “Help” on the OVO site states “You must give us a generation meter reading before the end of each of these months to get paid for that quarter”. Does that mean I can give a reading any time in June and get paid within the stated 8 weeks from that date?

Thanks @BPLightlog , but it’s an FIT reading, not an export account.

Yes, FIT is a generation and export account (Feed in Tariff - which is energy exported to the grid).

If it’s anything like mine, as long as your reading is more than 86 days since the last one, it is ok. I get an email and record my reading from the link there. When they talk about ‘these months’ they relate to the quarterly months relevant to your scheme

Hi @hatters and welcome to this customer forum. As far as I know, the OVO site does not cater for any export accounts so it probably isn’t relevant in this case.

Thanks @BPLightlog , but it’s an FIT reading, not an export account.
