All New Mini (2024) Charge Anytime Compatability

I am about to take delivery of the All New Mini SE (2024) - my previous Mini SE is compatible with Charge Anytime but the new model (and the electric Countrymans) is not on the compatible list yet.

I called OVO and they just said “it’s on the list”. This is pretty frustrating given they have been aware since late last year and available for a few months. It uses exactly the same app in my phone (and uses the same technology as BMWs) as the older one. I couldn’t wait until it was available on the compatible list before I ordered the new one as there was a 6 month waiting list.

Wondering how long it generally takes to add new models of cars to the list, for makes of cars that are already supported? Anyone know?

From what we’ve seen via the forum @Jwek , it does depend on several things.
There will be timing for access to the software from BMW for the tech team to work on - most manufacturers take the opportunity to update their vehicles firmware when a new model is released.
There will also be the current workload of OVO’s team as they work to enlarge the EV group they connect to.
