I'm looking to switch to a one year fixed tariff and I see one of the requirements is to have a smart meter fitted. An OVO engineer has already visited to try to fit a smart meter but has said that it is not possible due to the type of accommodation and the current type of meter. Will this exclude me from switching to the fixed tariff?

Welcome to the OVO Online Community,
I should imagine if you have attempted to get a smart meter fitted but were unable to do so through no fault of your own, that you wouldn’t be penalised for this. The terms & conditions don’t seem to mention this scenario but I’ll ask internally & find out.
