Make the + for In and - for Out symbols in the OVO App have 1,000 Pt font size!

Just a fairly simple one. The + and - symbols are really small in the app and hard to see. I think they’d be better if they were 1,000 Pt font size. That way you’d literally never miss them! :P

Thanks for this idea @Blastoise186!

We do seem to have had some confusion recently around this topic, especially with our customers paying such close attention to their bills with the EBSS payments.

We can change this one to ‘open for votes’ for sure and gauge interest…

Keep the great ideas rolling! 😀

Hehehe, you fell right into my trap!

A Font Size of 1,000 Pt would literally give you the worlds biggest + and - symbols! XD

We are literally talking this big…

So big it doesn’t even fit on Samurott! And that’s with a 14-inch 1440p display running at 2560x1440!

For comparison, here’s that same text on the same display at 16 pt font.

No wait… That was my other display at 1920x1080, sorry!

THIS is at 2560x1440 though!

Sadly not lol. But you’ve gotta leave some room on the screen for everything else!

And unlike me, most people don’t have a £2,000 gaming laptop. :P

What makes the bill confusing is not the + - symbols as such. What had me scratching my head(and getting splinters) was the mixing of in/out with +/- on the same page.  In the app I currently have

“Refunds       -£67.00 out”,

by normal arithmetic that is a double negative and is therefore positive. I think I have the measure of it now, but the logic still escapes me and continues to confuse me. Either +/- or in/out, but not both.

Even writing this is confusing me, perhaps it is meant to be positive, after all a refund is a refund. Oh, now I’ve got a headache, where’s that aspirin bottle.
