There’s no specific time frame I can offer you here, @mavison. However I know that there’s work planned to align the web app with OVO’s native app, on all features, unless they perform better on the app.

e.g we won’t change an app feature that users score as very helpful just because it’s different to the web app version. Everything else will be aligned between now and the year end. As you can see that’s a broad time range but for now, you’re able to access this here: https://account.ovoenergy.com/plan

I fully agree that the App and Web versions should be aligned!

I very nearly suggested it when asking about this change. They do operate in confusingly different ways.

Surely stage 1 should be to make the gas future annual consumption estimate actually work i.e. actually update say weekly. It used to update every 24 hrs or so which was good. Mine hasn't budged a single unit for over a month. Once fixed then worry about the app.

Too simple? Probably. This powers peoples DD amounts and needs fixing asap.

OVO have completely lost the plot in the last 6 months for me.

Thanks for this feedback, @Padster. Of course I wish it was a more positive experience.

It’s really interesting to hear that your future annual consumption figure hasn’t changed. I wonder if this is a function change or indicative of an issue. @mavison @Jeffus are you aware of changes to yours in the last month?

It is not interesting, it is not updating. This means i cannot lower the dd amount to reflect recent near zero gas usage. I had hoped to be able to lower my £2000+ credit balance over time before Mr Fitzpatrick spends it all on his latest hobbies, the £50,000,000 ish so far won't last long!

Pitching in uninvited: No I’ve seen no change in my FAC (electricity only) for months. It’s stuck at a figure almost twice my actual consumption for the past twelve months.

No. I don’t think our FAC has changed for some time … and considering we had PV panels installed on 30th January our usage has dropped considerably since then, and even more a week ago because of a battery install.  It is certainly now way too high - hence my interest in FAC being added to the App, as I rarely use the web site.

Sorry to write so ambiguously. I’ll try again, this time with accurate details

I’ve seen no change in my FAC since 9 April, when it jumped from ~1940 to 2903 kWh/y, split off-peak 1276, peak 1627.  My metered consumption in the twelve months to 31 May was 1492, split off peak 441, peak 1051.
