Provide queue status updates when queueing for Live Chat

I’ve been meaning to submit this idea for two years now!

But it would really help - especially in the current times - to be able to get queue position updates on the live chat. Not only so you know you’re still connected, but also to get a rough idea of how long it’ll be until you’re through to an agent.

Would be handy to have on all the time too!

On chat is a massive issue.. 1263 minutes wait ...  Now on telephone line..pretty much the same.. So frustrating... Trying too DD increase £200 - £282 and £432 in credit.. I want to top up as I go.. But can't get help anywhere.. Telephone line music is awful and a very bad line.

There’s an update on this idea:

 

This is something we previously had and it caused a few complaints from customers - we now have the where you are in the queue metric so you can see how many people are before you. 

 

I’ll change the status of this as it’s not something that is being considered to be reintroduced.
