Economy 10 meter - is it RTS?

Hi all

Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question…..

we are on economy 10 with 3 phase electrical supply, storage heaters and electric water heating on off peak…….we’ve never had any correspondence from Ovo regarding changing our meter before the RTS shutdown however I’ve contacted Ovo a few times about this over the past 6 months - initially I was told we were affected and had to change the meter however yesterday I was told that we do not have an RTS meter and do not have to change before the shutdown.

Rather confused! I don’t think it is an RTS meter but I’d be really grateful if someone could confirm this please. Thank you

That’s a complex arrangement to be sure, but there’s no sign of an RTS there. If there is one, it would probably be near the consumer unit(s). If that is the only meter you have, I don’t think you have anything to worry about.

Hi Firedog, thanks very much for your reply. Photos below show the rest of what we have near the consumer unit. Can’t see anything there that is labelled RTS/telesignal. Our current meter was installed in 2016.

You running the Blackpool Illuminations?

No, I can’t spot any sign of RTS there. I’ll stick my neck out and say no, you’re not going to be affected by the RTS shutdown.
