Correct! You can just plug-in whenever you want as the Charge Anytime rate is available 24 hours a day. Just make sure to set your preferred Ready By time in the Charge Anytime app - you can change that whenever you wish without giving a reason.

Same here, we also have a Hypervolt 3. Just let OVO anytime take control and the car has always been charged by 9am, which is the time we set.

The only odd thing is that the charging starts randomly all evening for maybe a few minutes then stops. I guess thats OVO’s system making choices when to charge. Would be interested why it has such short slots though. This is even at times when the OVO carbon forecast shows some carbon in supply.

It’s possible it’s testing the rate at which your battery draws from the grid (I think some other companies do this). That might mean OVO can start your charge earlier/ later. Whether it’s smart enough to take into account make/model not sure. For example, I think charge slows down as it gets above 80% SOC and knowing the size of the battery, could adjust start/stop time.
