I recently purchased a CUPRA Formentor Hybrid. I enrolled in the Charge Anytime. The app worked brilliantly for a week or so and today I noticed something was wrong. I connected my car to change it and the app couldn’t not detect it, simply said car is unplugged and odd thing was it connected with the car last at 5:30 am… it was after 15:00 when I noticed that. I thought I’d remove the car from charge anytime app followed by app removal and re adding it all. All I get now is a screen where my schedule should be that says : Please wait few minutes whilst we finish connecting to your CUPRA. I raised it with them too but they simply responded it’s out of their scope and they can’t see any issues. Has anybody experienced anything like this before? How was it fixed? Thanks

We’ve got a great Charge Anytime FAQ’s page here. If you’re a Charge Anytime customer experiencing issues with your app, charger or vehicle and can’t find the answer you need, our Charge Anytime team can be contacted via chargeanytime@ovo.com.
Many thanks for posting and welcome to the Forum. I’ve awarded you your EV badge 😁.
@stephens / @Blurb thanks for your involvement here too. Just to let you all know I’ve spoken to a colleague in the Charge Anytime team, and she’s advised that they have a couple of contacts over in Enode. Enode have advised:
This is something Enode are aware of and are investigating. A fix has been implemented and we are monitoring the results.
Yeah - Somethings up. We have a Born and Formentor and the Cupra/VWG server clearly isn’t communicating with Charge Anytime at present. Its happened before. It’s a pain, but good to know that we are not alone. I’ll wait and see what happens in the next 24 hours.
Incidentally - were you registering the corrrect total charge for the Formentor (ours a facelift VZ1) in the Charge Anytime app? Ours has only recorded approx 2/3 of the charge for the last 3 weeks. I’d raised a query on Monday, so had wondered if our issue today were linked to someone at Ovo compounding the problems, but your post now indicates otherwise.
Hi thanks for your reply. I did a bit more investigating and I think I know what is happening. Enode is currently going through a live incident that includes issues for SEAT/CUPRA cars: https://status.enode.com
Thanks for the confirmation and link to enode - a site I haven’t found in the past. It would also be useful if Ovo could post an update as a reply to this thread.
You’re more than welcome. I forgot to answer your other question about the 2/3 charge you experienced. The Enode outage is likely the cause of that too. If you go on the link I provided there is a calendar at the bottom. And I am pretty sure when I checked I saw that most of the days CUPRA/SEAT performance was degraded so the app could be missing some info and reading wrong. I also agree OVO should really jump on this, not to try and help is necessary but acknowledge the fact this is happening with Enode therefore affecting their clients. Since this is also not the first time, and when I spoke to OVO they seen no issues, nor did CUPRA which is worrying, worrying that customer know more about problem troubleshooting haha. Not digging at either of them btw 😂
Thanks for the Enode link Miker27. I noticed it overnight when charging. I dropped them an email asking about it. I wonder if we’ll get a refund on the charge I did 🙄.
