Storage heaters due to be installed, asked by landlord to change my tariff
Hey
Â
If you’re currently liable for the property it’ll be best to get your own account set up. You’ll be best to contact the Support Team to do so, and they’ll get everything set up for you.Â
Â
If for example the meter stopped working, or was faulty, because the account sounds like it’s under the landlord’s name, we’d need to gain the landlords consent, even though they’re not living in the property, which can cause delays if landlords are unresponsive. As the person living at the property, and the one paying the bills, you should have your own account to keep track of your own bills and usage.Â
