Hi

I am moving into a house where OVO are the gas and electricity suppliers. I am with Octopus and want to stay with them so have applied to transfer my account to the new house. The electricity supply is transferring over ok but OVO have blocked the transfer of the gas. The only way forward seems to be opening an account with OVO just for gas. Is this possible? Going on the website and applying it seems it needs to be both supplies only and when I called OVO the person I spoke to didn’t seem to want to help. Any suggestions?

To open a gas only account, you’ll need to get in touch with the Support Team directly to have them do this with you. This is the only way you can open a gas only account with us.

 

They’ll be available to do this tomorrow, so do get in touch with the team for help with this.
