Tado thermostat now even cheaper through OVO!?

Just over a month ago I purchased a Tado  thermostat from OVO for £140.

It is working well and reliably with my elderly boiler but I now notice that OVO is selling the same equipment for £70.

Am I alone in feeling aggrieved?

Well done on taking control of your energy with a smart thermostat, @lfdavies.

I can see the retail price of that Tado is £199 so you still got a hefty discount with that deal from OVO. I wonder how long OVO will be able to offer such a huge discount as we currently have…

How have you found setting it up and installing? Any changes to your heating habits now that it’s smart powered?

Thank you for your response. It is little comfort to me to have missed an even bigger discount by a few weeks.

I have an old boiler but with the assistance of an electrician I. have connected my Tado wireless thermostat successfully (and linked to my OVO account.)

So far, one month, it has proved to be very efficient.

Unfortunately these things tend to be luck of the draw. Sometimes the best thing you can do is lock in whatever deal you had because on the flip side, at least the price didn’t go up.
