I've had an email from someone claiming to be my complaints handler.

But the email hasn't come from an ovo email address. 

I do have an ongoing complaint. I'm waiting to be switched to payg.

 

The only way that information would have got out would be a breach of gdpr on ovos side.

 

I'll attach a photo.

Is this a real ovo human?

 

Or more likely just a glitch with the system not generating the email properly.

I’m not convinced this is fraud - and this is me speaking as a cybersecurity professional. You must be very careful with making such claims unless you’re 100% certain - it can backfire very badly if you get it wrong.

Sorry to hear about this. The best thing to do would be to double check with the Support Team as they’d be able to see any emails sent out to you. 

 

That way they can confirm that it has been your complaint handler. Keep us updated with how you get on.
