Despite this issue, looking at the previous comments, when one clicks the button by mistake OVO automatically changes the account to fixed rate. Then one has to go through an inconvenient cancellation process.  Surely it cannot be beyond the capability of a software engineer to add an “are you sure” button.

I’ve emailed the complaints and support teams, both of whom say they’ll get back within two days, but based on my previous correspondence I won’t hold my breath as they took two weeks.

 

 


As far as I’m aware, it takes more than one click - you have to explicitly go to the offers, review them and then choose one.

I’m told OVO is already working on making it a little more foolproof however.
