We’ve seen this a few times and have some tips on how to solve it. 

 

You’ll need to be logged in to a specific Volkswagen (VW) app on your phone, and register your vehicle correctly to the right VW login through the Charge Anytime app. Not sure which VW app to use? Check the following:

  • For ID vehicles, the correct app name is now "Volkswagen"
  • For non-ID vehicles the correct app is "We Connect". Please note: the "We Connect" app says you need an ID vehicle to be logged in, this is incorrect, and you can continue without one.

 

If you’re still getting an error message such as, 'Unable to locate your vehicle" - Charge Anytime needs your vehicle to have GPS reactive and location sharing enabled. Please contact your vehicle manufacturer for more help with this.
