A shame to see OVO fined for their performance in the smart meter rollout. The highest fine, even worst than the old SSE.

I really hope OVO focus on someĀ of the basics like this over the next year.

In their recent plan zero report OVO said Ā 48.2% of their meters were smart at the end of 2022. Across the industry the government has said 57% were smart in March 2023.

It would be great to see OVO well above the average soon.

A proportion of that 48.2% will likely have connectivity etc issues from time to time. The government say circa 9% across the industry had some sort of issue in March 2023. We see a very small snap shot of thisĀ on the forum. Be great to see a real focus from OVO on this.

Customers have spent a lot of money via their bills on the roll out across the industry and customers need reliable smart meters and connectivity to support them in the transition to net zero. Be great to see more progress on this.

Be interested to hear more from ovo about what they are doing on both these issues.
